ESQUIRE: What I Learned In May 2010

Ever wonder how her many greetings translate? Keep this guide on hand when she's being cryptic (ie using a subscribed greeting Esquire has arbitrarily given underlying meanings.) Hi! -> She likes you! (I'm guessing the emphasis is on the !) Hey, you -> She's been thinking about you. Well, hell-o -> She's been thinking about sleeping with you. Hey -> Impossible to tell. (Thanks for the insight Esquire) Hi there -> She's probably not interested. (Slash didn't expect to be talking to you.) Yo -> She'd love to stay friends. (Or she's me and just likes to use informalities and a New York accent to make you laugh... or friends, yeah...) Whattup! -> She's sixteen. (See "Yo") Who is this? -> She doesn't know who you are. (Brilliant!)
